Hi, I’m Lucy. I’m a clinical trials associate in my late 20s.  I like to make things, hence the name of the website.

I’ve known how to knit since I was 10; I asked my mother to teach me how for my birthday. Socks are my favorite knitting project, followed by hats and mittens. One of these days I’ll attempt another sweater. You can find my Ravelry profile here.

I’ve been a quilter since November 2011. I sew and free-motion quilt on a Juki TL 2010Q, which I adore. I also have an old Kenmore Sears Special for any non-straight stitch needs. I lean towards bright colors and modern designs in my projects.

I also like learning new skills, contra dancing, geocaching, rocky coastlines, sharing a meal with friends, boardgames, and the color green. I live with my husband and a closet full of yarn and fabric in a little condo north of Boston.

You can also email me at lpleticha monkeytail gmail dot com.
